Do I Take insurance?
I currently do not take insurance however I am willing to provide a superbill for any patient who would like to submit invoices to their insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. At the start of therapy, every patient will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate.
Do I see Patients in Person or Virtually?
I offer both! I prefer in-person as it is a more intimate and personable experience. I understand that getting to a physical office can be challenging and therefore I offer HIPAA compliant virtual telehealth sessions for anyone outside of the Austin area.
How Do you get started?
The first step would be to either fill out the "contact me" form here or email me directly and I will get back to you within 24-36 business hours for us to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your goals for therapy and to ensure we are a good fit therapeutically. If for some reason we decide we are not a good match, I will do my best to provide you with referrals that better suite your therapy needs.
HOw do you request medical records?
I am required by the licensing board to maintain patient records for 7 years after your completion of therapy with me. To request those, please notify me in person or via email so that we can discuss.
What if you have a complaint?
I am licensed through the State of Texas, so any violations of my professional ethical code (https://www.lpcboard.org/acacodes) or of my state licensing regulations (https://bhec.texas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/LPC-Rulebook-2025-November.pdf) can be reported to the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
